The building consists of a typical skin which is filled with windows with underlying blinds. Although popular in the 70s, the building now looks very unpleasant since it is no longer in coherence with its present context.
In order to improve the aesthetics, we put a façade on top of the existing façade without removing the existing structure. The finish consists of Krion, which is similar to natural stone. For a building on the seafront, Krion was chosen as it is hard wearing and highly resistant to weathering. Apart from these advantages, it is easy to repair and requires minimum maintenance.
