The renovation process mainly focuses on the leakage through terrace and the balustrades. The balustrades were shaky and unstable from being mounted on the edge. The balconies were restored with new balustrades and proper waterproofing while the upper parts of the façade were replaced with proper insulation and new wooden cladding. Apart from these issues, the major problem and the most significant one was that the upper part of the reinforcement cage was dislocated and settled at the bottom of these cantilevered balconies. The structural floor had developed cracks and the gravel was delaminating, further accelerating the process of deterioration. In order to restore the structural integrity of the cantilevers, the reinforcement was redone, and new shrink free concrete mix poured in.
