The facade’s deterioration has been sped up by the intense weather conditions of this seafront building. After repairing a considerable amount of concrete rot, the project focused on isolating and waterproofing all the exterior structural elements. Both facades were finished in a unified color palette made from coherent materials such as the beige stone wall panels and simple grey metal balustrades. As one of the building’s major characteristics, the black window frames have also been added to the commercial ground floor, creating a more unified appearance of the whole structure.
